Another jigging session 17/04

6kg amberjack

2.7kg mackerel and 1.8kg tongkol.

I went to dropoff last sunday for another session of fulltime jigging. This time i brought a friend along Irwan. His first time jigging n he caught 2 fish on jig and gives a good fight. PAdamit caught a 6kg amberjack. There were quite a number of misscall. Lost quite a number of jigs n jigs assist as it is always attack by either tengiri or barracuda. Can i be called karate king? hahahaah . went out 2 trip but didnt land anything. Precious Anglers when is the next jigging session? or maybe popping.

Thanks to Precious Anglers for a fun and exciting trip.To Hj Win thanks for making this trip happen. The 4kg AJ was caught by Capt. Awie. We were defeated 2-0 by monster fishes. First strike by Capt Awie lasted for about 8minutes. Fish was about 50ft away then suddenly rod broke n fish got away estimated to be around 40kg AJ. I got the second strike 10 minutes later. Fight lasted for 1 hour. I fight the first 8 minutes then i cant take the pressure anymore as my hand muscle were all cramped. I wasnt ready for such a big battle. So then i pass the rod to Capt Awie then he pass it to Hj Win then G-Mi then back to Hj Win again. They three fought the fish for about 45mins then I fought the fish for about another 6mins till i give up. Last we use krikan to reel in then the braided line break.Jigging master reel pe4 was at full lock still line peeling out. THAT WAS MY DREAM FISH.
